Much of the war in Ukraine is far away from the public gaze and cameras, especially the frontlines in the eastern Donbas region. The BBC has been following Ukraine’s 28th Mechanised Brigade in the area as it clears mines and builds roads to the frontlines. Documentary-maker Jamie Roberts strapped helmets with cameras to the unit, and he has given Newsnight’s Joe Inwood exclusive footage of the unit.
